T-cons conducted a survey of formal small, medium and large businesses in South Sudan. This survey was intended to gather information and perceptions to assess business environment in South Sudan to generate firm-level information which will be used to identify the most important areas of development for the private sector.

The survey was conducted in Juba, Nimule, Yei and Torit. T-cons recruited, trained and deployed 35 researchers and enumerators to conduct pilot interviews, developed the sampling frame, and conduct the survey. T-cons also did data entry, data analysis and report writing.
